This past Friday, we enjoyed another exciting evening at the Denver Art Walk on Tennyson St. The Art Walk is held once a month on the first Friday from 6pm to 10pm and is a fun night out walking through the area with the shops open late and the art galleries running shows along with the serving of wine and snacks. It was a bit cooler as we’ve welcomed the beginning of fall this week which kept the crowds at bay, or maybe it was because we were there later in the evening, as usual. Mob Cyclery is moving out of the area and an exhibit was setup in their old space. I’m not sure if this will be home to a new gallery but the pieces on display were fun.
As always, we stopped by Metro Frame Works to see Milo and Gracie, the two greyhounds that adorn the shop with their huge beds setup along the back wall. Since our greyhound passed away earlier this year, Camille enjoyed stopping to see the dogs and seeing the animal exhibits.
The remaining dates for this year are October 3, November 7, and December 5. Plan for a fun night out and check ot one of the many great restauranst or bars while in the area. For more information and a list of participating galleries, also visit www.DenverArtWalk.com .
