Halloween is rapidly approaching and parents are on the lookout for trick or treating events taking place. The Merchants of Old South Gaylord Street , to the east of Washington Park, are sponsoring the Old South Gaylord Halloween Safe Street on October 31 from 4 to 7 pm from Mississippi to Tennessee Sts. Yes, the streets will be closed to make room for the inflatable haunted house and air castle. Merchants will be open for trick or treaters (my guess is they’re giving treats rather than waiting for the tricks). Come see your Wash Park neighbors and friends this Halloween!
