More and more people are looking for Denver area homes and neighborhoods that are more bike and walk friendly. We recently came across a great new tool released by Front Seat called the Walk Score. This site allows you to type in an address and will give you a score based on how walkable the location is to stores, schools, shops, restaurants, etc.
Being that we’re focused on being innovative and green, this is a great resource for buyers looking to reduce their carbon footprint and be in a livable community. We’re on Sloan’s Lake and our Walk Score is 63, thanks to all the shops on Sheridan. Personally, we’re bikers and still prefer heading to the Highlands or LoDo but this is neat!

Wow, I just moved closer to downtown Denver and went from a 17 to 63. I’d like to do better but that’s a good start!
